Keep Our Kids Home works to prevent international parental child abduction, protect children, support affected families, educate communities and professionals, and advance meaningful legal and systemic reform.
Our work brings together child-abduction prevention, protection of healthy child-parent relationships, legislative and policy advocacy, public education, professional training, and support for families navigating complex systems.
KOKH believes that preventing an abduction before it occurs is far better than trying to repair the damage afterward.

Our history
From lived experience to organized advocacy.
KOKH's work developed from families seeking practical ways to prevent international parental child abduction and strengthen the systems responsible for protecting children.
2022
Advocacy & Prevention
KOKH expanded its advocacy and prevention efforts, working to raise awareness of international parental child abduction and strengthen protections for children and families.
2023
Legislative Milestone
Maryland enacted child-abduction prevention legislation, an important milestone in the issues KOKH had been advocating around.

Rachel Endo
President
Rachel Endo is President of Keep Our Kids Home and the mother of two daughters, Miyu and Amane. Her involvement in child-abduction prevention is deeply personal: her family experienced international parental child abduction firsthand, including the difficult legal process of securing her children's return.
Drawing on that lived experience, Rachel works to strengthen KOKH's prevention, education, advocacy, and family-support efforts, with particular emphasis on recognizing abduction risks before a child is taken.
